Description: Work under this project consist of furnishing all labor, equipment, material and incidentals necessary for the removal and proper disposal/recycle of non-hazardous solid waste from a tract of land approximately 2 acres in size.
This requirement includes the demolition of three small wood frame structures and the removal of waste oil and oil filters in accordance with the Scope of Work. The project site is located in Lawton, Oklahoma; Comanche County.
The estimated cost of for this construction project is between $25,000 -$100,000.

Description: This solicitation is being advertised "UNRESTRICTED" for full and open competition. The NAICS Code for this solicitation is 562111, with a Size Standard of $10,500,000.00.
The intention of this solicitation is to obtain solid waste collection and disposal services at Beaufort Naval Hospital, Laurel Bay, and The Marine Corps Air Station communities by means of a combination firm fixed-price and indefinite quantity contract. If during the term of this contract the need arises to incorporate the Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island into this contract, the Government will modify the contract in accordance with the contract clause FAR 52.243-1, referred to in Section I.
The Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, materials, supplies, refuse containers of various capacities and equipment necessary to collect and dispose of solid waste, including the collection and disposal of garbage, debris, rubbish, and other discarded solid wastes resulting from industrial, commercial, and community activities, as specified in the specifications.
Excluded from this function is collection and disposal of hazardous wastes, other pollutants in water resources such as silt and dissolved or suspended solids, and infectious/medical wastes.
The type of contract to be awarded will be a combination Firm Fixed price/Indefinite Quantity type contract. The contract will be for a base period and contain option provisions for a total contract term not to exceed 60 months. The Government intends to issue the entire solicitation on or about 21 April 2003. Viewing and downloading will be available at www.esol.navfac.navy.mil.

The government intends to negotiate and issue a sole source modification to contract F16602-99-D0016 with Thermal Solutions Inc., 6944 North Hanley Road, Hazelwood MO 63042-2933, to provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items or services necessary to perform management and operation of the refuse and recycling services located at Barksdale AFB LA. The current contract F16602-99-D0016 with Thermal Solutions Inc. can no longer be extended. The purpose of this modification is to allow the government sufficient time to finalize the new acquisition. Since refuse and recycling service is necessary on a continuing basis due to mission requirements, negotiations with the incumbent contractor are required to continue service with the least amount of disruption and cost to the government.
