Description: Housing Refuse Collection and Disposal Services, Kaneohe Marine Corps Base Hawaii (MCBH), Camp Smith, and Manana, Oahu, Hawaii. There are approximately 2,612 quarters to be serviced at MCBH (2,434), Camp Smith (10), and Manana (168).

The work includes curbside pickup twice a week after 0700 , bulk pick-up each week on Monday after 0700 (includes disposal of air conditioners and white appliances in accordance with EPA standards), special pick-up (Christmas tree recycling once per week for two weeks after 25 December), holiday pickups after 0800. There will be no collection on Saturdays or Sundays. Contractor will utilize existing 95-gallon refuse carts and provide refuse carts with properly identified address as replacement for damaged carts.

The contract term will be a base period of one year plus 4 option years. The total term of the contract, including all options, will not exceed 60 months. If the Government does not award a follow-on contract in time, the Government may require the Contractor to continue performance for an additional period up to six months under the Option to Extend Services clause. In either case, the Government will not synopsize the options when exercised. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 562111 and the annual size standard is $10.5 million. This procurement is UNRESTRICTED.

The solicitation utilizes source selection procedures which require offerors to submit technical, past performance, experience and small business utilization information, and price proposal for evaluation by the Government. Offerors can view and/or download the solicitation at http://esol.navfac.navy.mil/ when it becomes available. All interested offerors shall register at the website to ensure that they are notified of updates or amendments to the solicitation as they occur. No other notice of solicitation activity will be provided to interested offerors. This is a new procurement. It does not replace an existing contract.

No information exists on prior contracts. Large business concerns shall submit a subcontracting plan. Large and small business will submit information on small business utilization. Proposal issue/receipt dates are approximate.

Description: NA NRCC Installation Division (formerly Directorate of Peninsula Contracting) will host an industry forum on October 24, 2002 for Solicitation Number DABT57-02-B-0007, Refuse/Recycling Services at Fort Eustis, VA.

The purpose of this forum is to partner with /involve industry in developing and refining the acquisition strategy and approach for this acquisition.

Companies interested in this acquisition are highly encouraged to attend this forum which will be held at the NRCC Installation Division Conference Room, 2746 Harrison Loop, Fort Eustis, VA 23604-5292. No fee for the conference is required, however, seating is limited (our goal is to limit industry attendees to no more than two people per company).

All interested attendees are required to pre-register via email to gwinp@eustis.army.mil. Requests must be received no later than 21 October 2002. Please provide the company name, individual name, phone number, and email address of each planned attendee.

The forum will commence promptly at 9:00 AM. On th e afternoon of October 24th, time slots will be set aside for those industry forum attendees wishing to meet with government officials in a private setting. These meetings will take place in the same location as the industry forum. The private conference’s are intended to allow companies the opportunity to provide their individual corporate input on the requirements. Conferences will be scheduled in 30-minute increments on a first come, first serve basis.
