Description: Department of the Navy, Naval Supply Systems Command, NAVICP-Mechanicsburg; This is a synopsis for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.
This requirement is for toner cartridge-recycling. The period of performance will be from the date of order through September 30, 2003. A Firm fixed price contract will be issued according to the following specifications: To recycle a quantity of laser printer toner cartridges on the first Friday of each month, pickup and return delivery will be made from the Naval Inventory Control Point, Mechanicsburg, 5450 Carlisle Pike, Bldg. 112, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055.
Pick-up for the first month shall be on the first Friday after the date when the Request for Quote closes. After the first pick-up date, the pick-up and delivery date shall revert back to the first Friday of each month. B illing shall be done on a monthly basis in arrears. The quantity recycled will be based on the following price list: Group 0001 shall consist of cartridges in the range that follows including cartridge type and part number: type 1100, part number R4092A; type 5/6 5P/6P, part number R3903A; type FX1, part number FX1; type 5L/6L, part number R3906A; type 4 +, part number R92298A. Group 0002 shall consist of cartridges in the range that follows including cartridge type and part number: type 4050 N HY, part number R4127X; type 4500 Black, part number R4191A. Group 0003 shall consist of cartridges in the range that follows including cartridge type and part number: type 4500 Cyan, part number R4192A; type 4500 Magenta, part number R4193A; type 4500 Yellow, part number R4194A; type 5000 HY, part number R4129X; type 8100, part number R4182X. Unit pricing is being sough t for the following quantities per month. Please submit pricing for each group listed above based on estimated quantities as follows: Unit Price Group 1, Unit Price Group 2, & Unit Price Group 3 1 - 15 ea 26 - 50 ea 51 - 100 ea 101 - 250 ea 251 - 1,000+ ea
Interested parties can request a copy of the RFQ by sending an e-mail to Marsha_L_Williams@ICPMECH.NAVY.MIL. Solicitation Number N00104-03-Q-Q005 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) in accordance with FAR Part 13. The Government intends to purchase on a firm fixed price basis and to solicit and negotiate the proposed contract on a competitive basis. Quotes are being sought from Small Businesses in accordance with FAR Clause 52.219- 6, which is incorporated by reference and applies to this acquisition. All items must be Year 2000 compliant in accordance with FAR Clause 39.002, which is incorporated by reference and applies to this acquisition. The provision at DFARS 252.204.7004, Required Central Contractor Registration (MAR 1998) is incorporated by reference and applies to this acquisition.
This notice of intent is to request competitive proposals. Offers are due to Marsha Williams, Contract Specialist, Naval Inventory Control Point, 5450 Carlisle Pike, P O Box 2020, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055 or e-mailed to Marsha_L_Williams@ICPMECH by 12:00 Noon on October 7, 2002. Description: The Military District of Washington Acquisition Center, Fort Belvoir, Virginia intends to issue a solicitation; Request for Quotes (RFQ) DADW35-02-T-0209 on or about September 26, 2002.
The due date for quotes to be submitted will be on the solicitation. The solicitation is being issued for a contractor to provide service in support of the Fort Belvoir Recycling Program. The Contractor shall provide roll off containers for the storage of recyclable material collected from Family Housing Units and administrative buildings by the recycling collection contractor and at the volunteer drop off.
The Contractor shall provide transportation of the roll off containers to the Government specified recycling vendor(s) in the Metropolitan Washington area. The Contra ctor shall also be required to transport containers from their location on site and dump on the tipping floor located at the recycling Center weekly, or on an as needed basis.
This RFQ is restricted to 100 percent Small Business Set Aside. The SIC is 421 2 and the NAISC is 48411 with a size standard of 18.5M. This commercial service requirement will be awarded to the contractor with the lowest quote and providing all information requested in the solicitation using simplified acquisition procedures. The contract will result in a firm fixed price contract with a base year of twelve (12) months from the date of the contract award, followed by four (4) option years should the government elect to exercise the options. The contractor shall be responsible for compliance with all Federal, State and Local laws, regulations and licenses.
The solicitation shall be issued via the World Wide Web and can be accessed on the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) website at http://acquisition.army.mil.
The Government will not provide hard copies or CDROM of the RFQ. Additionally, no paper copies of the solicitation or any amendments will be faxed or mailed. No further public announcements will be made.
Contractors are advised to periodically check the aforementioned webs ite for amendments or other updates on or about 26 September 2002. No solicitation mailing list will be compiled or published. Failure to provide all requested information on the solicitation to include fill in clauses and provisions may result in a determination of the contractor being deemed nonresponsive.
All prospective offerors must have current, up-to-date CCR registration.
