Description: NASA/Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) is seeking Capability Statements from interested small business contractors for Trash and Recycling services contract.
The contractor shall provide all management, supervision, labor, materials, permits fees and equipment necessary (except as otherwise provided) to remove trash, recycling, and debris from the Goddard Space Flight Center.
There are approximately 39 front-end trash dumpsters (6 & 8 yard capacity) and 4 government owned roll-offs. The contractor shall supply 3 to 4 additional roll-offs. Front-end containers shall be pulled 3 days a week (M-W-F) and roll-offs shall be pulled 2 days a week (W-F).
Note: One roll-off is a cardboard compactor roll-off, which shall be pulled quarterly and taken to a recycling facility. The contractor is additionally responsible for pulling recyclable commodities from approximately 38 buildings on Center.
The contractor shall pull pre-sorted recycling from each building’s loading dock area. Some buildings have recycling located on interior loading docks, while others have exterior loading docks. The contractor is responsible for cleaning up/recovering any trash, debris, or recycling that is spilled from the containers during removal operations. Contract award is anticipated to be September 2004. This is a Sources Sought synopsis. NAICS code for this project is 562111.
This is a 100% Small Business Set-aside. Prospective contractors are invited to submit Capability Statements that includes their business size, 3 most current references including the name, address, point of contact, telephone, a brief description of the type of work completed and the dollar value.
The due date to submit your capabilities statement is February 18, 2004 at 4:00 p.m. The information contained herein is for planning purposes and does not constitute an invitation for bid nor a request for proposal. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this notification or otherwise pay for the information provided.

Foam Filled Structure Disposal/Recycling

Description: The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment and material as required to provide four (4) open top railroad gondola cars with a minimum 90-ton capacity for handling and disposing of foam filled steel structures located at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility, Bremerton, Washington.
The Contractor is required to deliver each ordered gondola railroad car within 14 days from the time of the order by the Government. The Government will load and secure the foam filled steel structures into the gondola railroad car. The Government will notify the Contractor when the gondola railroad car is ready to be moved by the Contractor to the Contractor's site.
The Contractor shall unload the railroad cars at their worksite off government property. The Contractor shall remove and dispose of the foam structures and recycle the steel. The contract will be issued for a base period with three (3) option periods. Registration in the "Central Contractor Registration" (CCR) is required prior to award.

Description: This procurement is for the purchase of all recyclable materials from the IRS, Central Area Distribution Center in Bloomington, Illinois area. This procurement is open to all business concerns. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 562111.
This will be a one (1) year contract with four (4) one-year options. The solicitation will be issued on/about February 2, 2004. GSA, PBS, Property Management Division, Contract Services Branch, will no longer mail hardcopies of the solicitation or issue solicitations via the Federal Business Opportunities website, http://www.fedbizopps.gov.
The solicitation cited above can only be obtained by accessing a secure website known as the Federal Technical Data Solution (FedTeDS). FedTeDS is a secure website designed to safeguard sensitive but unclassified (SBU) acquisition information. It is fully integrated with other electronic government initiatives such as FedBizOpps and the Central Contract Registration (CCR) database, and is available for use by all Federal agencies. Description: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
The Army Contracting Agency at White Sands Missile Range, NM is soliciting proposals for non-personal services to remove scrap tires from the installation. It is anticipated that there are over 8,000 scrap tires to be removed. The period of performance w ill be March 1 through May 31, 2004.
A Government forklift will be provided. Anyone able to provide this service is encouraged to respond. If you are selected, you must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration - CCR (http://www.ccr.gov/) in order to receive the award. If you are not in the CCR at the time we are ready to make the award, you will be disqualified.
We prefer to make payment by Government VISA card. Please include in your proposal whether or not you accept the Government VISA card.
The NAICS Code and the small business size standard for this procurement are 423930 and 500 employees. This requirement is set aside 100% for small business. After completion of the work, the contractor shall provide a certification letter stating the amount of tires hauled and the location of where the tires were hauled.
