This synopsis of proposed contract action is for planning purposes only and does not commit the government to pay for any information, issue a solicitation, or award a contract.    

 

This synopsis is not to be construed as a commitment by the government.     Any costs incurred as a result of a response to this announcement shall be borne by the firm and will not be charged to the government for reimbursement.    

 

Basic period of performance is 01 Oct 04 through 30 Sep 05 with three one-year option periods and one six-month option period.    

 

In addition, the solicitation and resultant contract will include FAR Clause 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services.      

 

This Request for Proposal (RFP) is issued under Commercial Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) (FAR Part 12).

The forthcoming solicitation will be issued in accordance with FAR 52.232.18, Availability of Funds.   

 

 The issuance date for this solicitation is projected to be on/about 4 Aug 04.     Prospective contractors must be registered in the central contractor registration database prior to award of a government contract.
