RFP #02-3382 Source Separated Organic Waste and Biosolids Processing and Beneficial Use
A pre-proposal meeting will be held on May 31, 2002 at 11:00 am in Naples, Fla., and proposals are due on July 12, 2002.
Among other items, the County will be responsible for collecting organic waste and biosolids and providing a put-or-pay guarantee of 30,000 tons per year of organic waste (up to 5,000 typy organic waste and at least 25,000 tons per year biosolids. The proposer shall be responsible to design, permit, finance, construct, and operate an organic waste and biosolids processing facility.

Summary: United States Postal Service, Supplies and Services Purchasing, Windsor PMSC; Provide mixed paper recycling services for Postal facilities in Massachusetts, Rhode Island and New Hampshire. This will be a two-phase process. This announcement is to solicit suppliers to pre-qualify for the required services, the first phase. In the second phase, pre-qualified suppliers only will be solicited for proposals. In order to explain the process in detail, a conference is scheduled for May 22, 2002, at 10:00AM. Summary: The army requires a firm-fixed price contract for Garbage/Refuse, Litter and Recyclables Collection and Disposal at Hunter Army Airfield, Georgia. The work covered by this contract consists of providing all necessary management, supervision, plant, labor, equipment, transportation, and materials perform the collection and disposal of household garbage/refuse, litter, yard trimmings, and commingled recyclable materials from 508 units in Family Housing. The NAICS code is 562119 and the size standard is $10. 5 million.
The magnitude of this project is between $100,000 and $500,000 (base plus two one-year option periods). The performance is to begin 1 Oct 2002 or within 10 calendar days after date of contract award. This acquisition is being solicited using full and open competitive procedures, in accordance with Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, therefore all eligible firms may submit a bid. A definite bid opening date has not been established.
