Requests for Proposal for the Week

The following are RFPs posted for the week ending May 9.

Analysis of Alternative Organic Waste Management Systems

The Chittenden Solid Waste District (CSWD) has recently begun the process of identifying and evaluating alternative management systems for the long-term management of organic wastes generated within Chittenden County.  One of the first steps in this process is to select a Consultant experienced in the organic waste management field to identify and evaluate various potential alternative processes and systems with the goal of eventually developing a recommendation for a preferred system.

On May 1st, 2009, CSWD issued a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) seeking to identify the best qualified firms to undertake this work in order to enable the subsequent development of a shortlist of such firms to be invited to prepare and submit detailed Proposals. Referenced in the RFQ is a draft Request for Proposals (RFP) which identified a proposed scope of services to be completed by the selected Consultant. The RFQ, draft RFP and other related documents are available for viewing at http://www.cswd.net/composting/organics_managementRFQ.shtml or by visiting CSWD’s website at www.cswd.net

The deadline for receipt of Statements of Qualifications is June 1, 2009.
