The contractor shall provide all the necessary labor, materials, equipment, and supervision to provide the U.S. Government Printing Office with the disposal of miscellaneous construction debris and non-recyclable materials from the US Government Printing Office. The contract shall include all fees which are in effect at the time of receipt of bids and selection of a certified disposal facility. Any additional fees which may be imposed by the county or municipality after the time set for the receipt of bids will be paid by the contractor. The contractor shall maintain all equipment in good physical and mechanical condition, without rust, damaged seams, tops, rollers, leaking hydraulics and electrical wirings.

The Social Security Administration (SSA) has a requirement for trash and debris removal and disposal services at various locations at the Social Security Administration, Headquarters Complex, 6401 Security Boulevard, Baltimore, MD 21235. The contractor shall provide all management, supervision, labor, materials, supplies and equipment necessary to perform the service of trash and debris removal and disposal services.
The contractor shall provide: 1) One (1) 42 cubic yard container with compactor shall be placed at the Operations Building Main Loading Dock (GSA) and shall be emptied daily Monday through Friday (excluding Federal Holidays) between the hours of 6:00 A.M through 9:00 A.M. 2) One (1) 42 cubic yard container with compactor shall be placed at the National Computer Center and shall be emptied 2 times a week on Tuesday and Fridays (excluding Federal Holidays) between the hours of 6:00A.M. through 3:00 P.M. 3) One (1) 42 cubic yard container with compactor shall be placed at the Supply Building and shall be emptied 2 times a week on Tuesday and Fridays (excluding Federal Holidays) between the hours of 6:00A.M. through 3:00 P.M. 4) One (1) 8 cubic yard covered dumpster shall be placed at the Day Care Center and shall be emptied daily five days a week Monday through Friday, (excluding Federal Holidays) between the hours 6:00A.M. through 9:00A.M. 5) One (1) 8 cubic yard covered dumpster shall be placed at the Annex Cafeteria and shall be emptied daily five days a week Monday through Friday, (excluding Federal Holidays) between 6:00A.M. through 3:00P.M. 6) One (1) 8 cubic yard covered dumpster shall be placed at the Main Cafeteria and shall be emptied daily five days a week Monday through Friday, (excluding Federal Holidays) between the hours of 6:00A.M. through 3:00P.M. 7) Contractor shall provide 30 cubic yard open top containers for unscheduled pickups of debris, metal and wood for any of the above locations or any locations within the complex added to this contract on an on-call basis. The period of performance shall be a one-year base period with four 1-year options, which is to begin on or about March 1, 2009.
This notice serves as a Sources Sought Synopsis seeking information from Small Business Concerns, which may be capable of providing these services. Information received from other than Small Business sources will not be considered. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 562111. The size standard for this NAICS code is $12.5 million.
