S.O.Q. for Design/Build Construction Services for the Residential Recycling Materials Recovery Facility

Kent County is soliciting Statement of Qualification Proposals to provide professional architectural/engineering and construction services to be performed under a design/build contract for a new Kent County Residential Recycling Materials Recovery Facility. The County desires to select a cooperative, highly functional design/build team to provide a "turn-key" solution that fully meets the County's needs. The design/build approach is intended to allow designers, contractors and owner to work together to produce an effective, comprehensive design and construction process that meets the County's needs. To obtain the highest quality facility within the required schedule and budget allocations, Kent County seeks a firm for the new facility through a Qualifications-Based Selection process. This selection process articulates the County's goals and provides openness and consistency so that all qualified firms receive fair consideration.
