Description: All screened material will be separated into two stock piled on the site. The asphalt and concrete will be recycled to meet ¾ inch minus material meeting Class II aggregate base per Caltrans Standard Specifications. The finished material shall also be weighted by a belt scale on the crusher and also calibrated on the crusher will be required on the site.

City of Brookings, SD

The City Council of the City of Brookings is requesting proposals from persons interested in processing and marketing recyclable material in the City of Brookings. These bids must be received at City Hall before 1:30 P.M. on Tuesday, October 16, 2007. For further information; please contact the City Landfill Department, the telephone number is 693-3667. Place "Recycling Proposal" on the lower left corner of the envelope that contains your proposal.

State of Delaware

We will be accepting qualification submissions from contractors in order to establish an Approved Contractors List for the cleanup of scrap tire pile sites in all three counties. The scrap tire piles vary in estimated size from 1,000 to 1 million. Contractors wishing to bid on a per site basis must be on the Approved Contractors List. The contractor is responsible to ensure the removal and lawful management or end-use of the scrap tires. Each contractor on the Approved Contractors List will enter into a contract for a three year period and the contract may be extended for two additional two year periods. The contract will then be amended to address the criteria for a specific site.
