Description: The Federal Bureau of Prisons(BOP), Field Acquisition Office, Grand Prairie, TX intends to make a sole source award to Western Oregon Waste for the provision of Solid Waste Removal and Disposal services at the Federal Correctional Institution Sheridan, Oregon.

 

The contractor shall be responsible for providing: two 25-cubic-yard compactors; one 31-cubic-yard compactor; two 30-cubic-yard open dumpsters; one 1.5-cubic-yard dumpster with lid; one each 10 quart sharps, hospital waste box; one each 21-gallon hospital waste box; one each 48 gallon box, hospital waste.    

 

The contractor shall provide transportation of the equipment to and from the disposal area. The contractor is solely responsible for full compliance with all Federal, State, Local and all other applicable laws, policies, rules and regulations, regarding the disposal of waste and/or refuse.    

 

The contractor shall be responsible for the provision of all equipment, labor, licenses, maintenance, materials, parts, permits, repairs, tools, etc., that are necessary to complete the requirements of this contract.    

 

The Government contemplates awarding of a firm-fixed price, combination fixed price, requirements type contract resulting from the future solicitation.

Description: Sources are being sought for refuse collection, recycling, and disposal (Base wide and Military Family Housing) for Malmstrom AFB, MT.    

 

Areas of the main base include, but are not limited to, dining facilities, dormitory areas, commissary, Base Exchange, medical facilities and squadron facilities.    

 

The military family housing area requires weekly curbside pick up services to include pick up of refuse and recyclable materials not to exceed 1275 units. In addition, contractor is responsible for all operations of the MAFB recycling center.
