Description: The work includes providing all plant, labor and materials plus containers for recyclable materials, including desk-side containers, cardboard dumpsters, and containers for tin, plastic, glass, magazines and any recyclable material designated by the government. The government will source separate these materials, which the contractor shall pickup through out the shop and administrative areas of all buildings at Watervliet Arsenal, then collect and dispose of by recycling.
In addition, the contractor s hall pickup and dispose of desk-side (office) and shop trash (located in trashcans furnished by the government), from all buildings at Watervliet Arsenal, into the dumpsters provided by the government. There are approximately 1,500 total desk-side and shop trashcans, which are furnished by the government. Solicitation W911PT-06-Q-0096 will be posted on 1-31-2006 and will close 2-24-2006.
Anticipated award date is on or before March 3, 2006. Telephonic requests for copies of the solicitation will not be accepted.

Description: The Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP), Field Acquisition Office, Grand Prairie, TX intends to make a single award for the provision of Solid Waste Removal, Disposal, and Rental services at the Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Prisons, United States Penitentiary (USP) and Federal Prison Camp (FPC), Canaan, Pennsylvania.

The Contractor is required to empty two (2) Government-owned containers and provide one 30 cubic yard open top trash container. Government-owned containers:
One 39 cubic yard self contained compactor/container is located within the secure perimeter of the United States Penitentiary, 3057 Easton Turnpike, Waymart, Pennsylvania. One 39 cubic yard self contained compactor/container is located at the Federal Prison Camp, 305 Easton Turnpike, Waymart, Pennsylvania.
Contractor provided container: One 30 cubic yard open top trash container is to be located adjacent to the warehouse building, 3057 Easton Turnpike, Building C, Waymart, Pennsylvania.
The removal/exchange (pull) of waste containers shall be accomplished on specified days and during specified times. The removal/exchange of one (1) 39 yard waste container inside the secure perimeter of the United States Penitentiary shall normally be performed on Tuesday and Friday each week between the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. or 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
The removal and exchange of the 39 yard waste container from the Federal Prison Camp shall normally be accomplished on Friday of each week between 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
The removal and exchange of the 30 cubic yard open top trash container, located adjacent to the warehouse building, shall normally be accomplished on Friday of each week between 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
The contractor is solely responsible for full compliance with all Federal, State, Local and all other applicable laws, policies, rules and regulations regarding the disposal of waste and/or refuse.
The contractor shall be responsible for the provision of all equipment, labor, licenses, maintenance, materials, parts, permits, repairs, tools, etc., that are necessary to complete the requirements of this contract. The Government contemplates awarding of an indefinite-delivery, requirements-type contracts with firm-fixed unit prices resulting from the future solicitation.
The contract period shall consist of a 12 month base period with four-12 month option periods for renewal. The solicitation will be available on/about January 3, 2006 and will be distributed solely through this website.
