Description: This is a synopsis for commercial service. This announcement constitutes the synopsis only. A written solicitation will be available on this web site on or about 12 Jan 2005. However, maps will be unavailable via this web site and will require a written request from each contractor.    

This procurement is a 100% set aside for HubZone Contractors with Refuse and Recycling experience. The solicitation document, which will be available on this web site, will incorporate provisions and clauses that are in effect through the Federal Acquisition Regulation. This will be a best value procurement utilizing Performance Price Tradeoff technique. The NAICS Code for this project is 56211 with a size standard of $6.0 million dollars. The contractor shall provide services Base wide and Military Family Housing (MFH) refuse collection, disposal and recycling for Elkhorn AFS and Offutt AFB, NE. The Military Family Housing areas require curb side pickup service to include pickup of recyclable materials. The Period of Performance is 01 April 2005 through 31 March 2006 for the basic period plus four option years.

All interested parties must be registered with the Central Contracting Registration (CCR) as prescribed in DFAS 252.204-7004.

CCR can be obtained by accessing the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov or by calling 1-888-227-2423. CCR must be obtained before award can be made. A site visit will be conducted approximately two (2) weeks after the anticipated issue date.    

Contractors interested in attending the site visit will need to contact Susianne Patterson or Donald Simons no later than three days before the date of the site visit.

Sources Sought For Pick Up And Removal Of Recycled Materials For Yosemite National Park And Environs

Description: Up to daily servicing of sixty-six (66) sites for recycling stations accepting co-mingled and/or separated recycling materials including, but not limited to; aluminum, glass, plastic, metal and paper. Pick-up sites include the entire Yosemite National Park area and El Portal Administrative site (Mariposa County, CA). Recycling sets to consist of up to eight (8) 32-gallon containers or up to three (3) four-yard bins. Deliver to recycling center of your choice. The closest to Yosemite National Park is the Mariposa County Public Landfill located in Mariposa, CA.

Schedule of pick-ups is affected by seasonal visitor usage. Please provide information about your company and your capability to perform this work, including equipment available, personnel, and other similar contracts currently being performed. As per FAR, you must be registered in the Central Contracting Register (CCR.gov). Must be able to provide payment and performance bonds.
