Description: General Services Administration is seeking interested small businesses who wish to submit offers for the purchase of recyclable materials generated by Internal Revenue Service (Florence and Covington, KY).
The Contractor shall provide all materials labor, equipment, supplies, management, supervision, plans, schedules, and coordination to assure effective completion of the requirements.
Recycling materials include white ledger (40), Mixed (1), corrugated (Baled) and corrugated (loose).
The Government intends to make award to the offeror whose proposal represents the best value to the Government. Technical and price proposals are required. This requirement is 100% set-aside for small business concerns; therefore all responsible small business sources may submit an offer which will be considered by this Agency. NAICS Code 423930, Small Business Size Standard is Not to Exceed (500 employees for Government contracting).
Solicitation: GS-04P-06-EWE-0025 will be issued on December 24, 2005. All offers shall be due on January 26, 2006. The term of the contract shall be for one (1) base year, with four (4) one (1) year option renewal periods. The contract shall not exceed five (5) years. The solicitation will result in the award of a firm fixed price contract.

Description: It is the U.S. Maritime Administration's (MARAD's) intent to establish and maintain a pool of vendors from whom vessel-specific dismantlement pricing can be requested. Through this Request for Quotation (RFQ) DTMA1Q05006, extended by Amendment 0002 through December 31, 2007, MARAD will evaluate all the quotations it receives and, from those that are found to be technically acceptable, will create a pool of standing quotations. MARAD will use these standing quotations to make its contract awards for ship disposal in the period between the posting of the RFQ through December 31, 2007.
The pool will remain open for vendors to submit quotations throughout the years 2006 and 2007 in response to the RFQ.
The RFQ and related documents are available via MARAD's Virtual Office of Acquisition (VOA) website https://voa.marad.dot.gov.
MARAD will only accept quotations submitted through this VOA website. Submissions via any other medium will be neither accepted nor evaluated.

Description: Pickup, shred and remove mixed scrap metal. Anticipated Multiple Award IDIQ with a minimum of $100,000 per award and maximum of $500,000 per award.
The Joint Contracting Command Iraq/Afghanistan (JCC-1/A) PARC- Forces Contracting Office Camp Victory, Iraq is seeking potential sources that have the capability to shred and remove mixed scrap metal from various U.S. military bases in Iraq.
Requirement is for capability to shred and haul away scrap. Loading equipment can be provided by U.S. military on site to load scrap bales onto contractor’s trucks.
Rough Order of Magnitude is millions of pounds. Contractor will receive value of scrap metal plus payment for shredding and removal service. Long-term project involving numerous sites in Iraq. This will include the Northern, Central and Southern zones of Iraq.
