Description: Provide labor and material to pick-up and haul trash to landfill or incinerator site.
VAMC, Minneapolis owns a 42-yard trash container with pick up every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday plus limited on-demand calls. Trash hauling is also required from additional buildings on campus and buildings at Fort Snelling.
Fort Snelling National Cemetery requires that successful Contractor furnish 30 yard dumpster.
Solicitation includes hauling and recycling of glass, bi-metal cans, and plastics, from VA Medical Center, Bishop Henry Whipple Federal Building, Fort Snelling National Cemetery and Hennepin County Courthouse.
Contract period is from October 1, 2005 through September 30, 2006 with two (2) one year renewal options.
This solicitation is for full and open competition under the Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program. All qualified offers are invited to provide their quotation.
Offers, including options, shall be evaluated for fair and reasonable pricing, technical competency, and satisfactory past performance.
The Government anticipates award of a commercial item contract to the offeror whose offer provides the best value to the Government.
Award will be made utilizing the Simplified Acquisitions Procedures outlined in FAR subpart 13.5, and a combination of FAR part 12, 13, 15, and 17 award procedures.
The solicitation is scheduled to be issued on or about August 16, 2005 and will be issued via Fed Biz Opps Electronic Posting System at http://www.fedbizopps.gov.
Offerors are responsible for checking the web site regularly to obtain amendments. Offers are due September 7, 2005 at 3:30pm CST.

Description: The US Army, Fort Bragg, North Carolina has a requirement for the removal and disposal of scrap tires. Contractor will be required to dispose of the tires at a NC EPA certified recycling facility. The period of performance is 1 October 2005 through 3 0 September 2006 with four (4) option years. The solicitation will contain a firm closing date. This requirement is set aside 100% for small business. For determining business size on this project, the applicable North American Industry Classification Code is 562920/$10.5 million. Due to automation no Bidder's Mailing List exists. Contractors wishing to do business with the Government must be registered in CCR for any awards resulting from solicitations issued after 01 June 1998 or the contractor will not be eligable for award. Description: This facility intends to solicit for Garbage/Trash Collection (non-burnable) with Recycling Services. Contractor must provide all necessary labor, supervision, equipment, recycling containers and vehicles to collect garbage/trash (non-burnable) and recycling materials from the VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System, 2215 Fuller Road, Ann Arbor, Michigan 48105 and transport to approved disposal site for the period of October 1, 2005 through September 30, 2006 with four (4) one year renewal options.
All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. Solicitation RFP506-00459-06 should be referenced on the BOS website. Projected issue date is 8/25/2005 with a projected bid opening date of 9/16/2005.
