Description: The United States Department of Agriculture intends to issue a sole source contract to Goode Trash Removal, Inc. for Refuse Removal Services, including hazardous waste material in three locations of the United States Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Research Services, including (BARC) Beltsville Agriculture Research Center, (NAL) National Agricultural Library, and (UANA) U.S. National Arboretum.

 

Award is pursuant to 41.U.S.C.253. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.

 

It is imperative to the Research Mission for there to be continuity in the Refuse Removal Service.

 

Therefore, the only contractor that can ensure the continuity of the Refuse Removal Service including Hazardous Waste, is the incumbent contractor Goode Trash Removal, Inc.

 

Requirement: The contractor shall provide all personnel, materials, dumpsters (containers) and equipment necessary to perform the collection and disposal of trash and recyclable materials for 93 trash containers.

 

Contractor shall provide service for three locations of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Research Services (ARS), including Beltsville Agricultural Research Center (BARC), National Agricultural Library (NAL) located in Beltsville, Maryland and U.S. National Arboretum (USNA) located in Washington, D.C.

 

Award effective 7/1/05, will be for a (2) month period. Responses are due within 10 days of this notice.
