Description: The scope of work consists of, but is not strictly limited to providing trash or solid waste disposal/recycling and removal services for the Hart-Dole-Inouye Federal Center, 74 N. Washington Street, Battle Creek, Michigan.
The contractor shall provide all management, supervision, labor, materials, equipment, repairs, parts, tools and supplies including inspection and maintenance of all operational equipment necessary and shall plan, schedule, coordinate and ensure effective and economical completion of all work and services specified in this contract.
Material to be removed includes (but is not limited to) wastepaper, packing cartons, unusable wood pallets, garbage, old carpeting and other items of unsalable trash, which will be contained within containers.
This solicitation is open to all business concerns in accordance with the Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program.
The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 562219, with a size standard of $10.5 million.
This is a one (1) year contract with four (4) one-year options.
The solicitation will be issued on or about April 21, 2004, the actual date for receipt of proposals will be stated in the solicitation.
The solicitation will be available through the Federal Technical Data Solution (FedTeDS) website (fedteds.gov). FedTeDS is a secure website designed to safeguard sensitive but unclassified (SBU) acquisition information. It is fully integrated with other electronic government initiatives such as FedBizOpps and the Central Contract Registration (CCR) database, and is available for use by all Federal agencies.
At a minimum all vendors must supply the following information:
