Recycling, Yard Waste Collection and Disposal

The City of Galesburg, Ill., invites sealed proposals for a five year contract for refuse, recycling and yard waste collection and disposal service.
A pre-proposal conference will be held at 10:00 a.m. on September 6, 2007, in the City Hall Council Chambers. A prequalification form shall be submitted by 10:00 a.m, local time, September 6, 2007. Any proposal submitted without the prior submission of such prequalification form shall be rejected.
Sealed proposals shall be received until 11:00 a.m., local time, September 17, 2007. Bid bonds and Performance Bonds shall be required as part of the proposal. Request for Proposal forms may be obtained at the office of the Purchasing Agent, 55 W Tompkins St., Galesburg, Illinois 61401.
