“CMC is at the forefront of steelmaking technology globally,” says Peter Matt, president and CEO of CMC. “We are excited to be featured in this docuseries to help educate the public on the crucial role steel plays in their everyday lives and how metal recycling helps to build a stronger, safer and more sustainable world.”
This season also features operations at SA Recycling’s facility in Brownsville, Texas, highlighting the processes behind ship dismantling and recycling to salvage steel for conversion into raw materials used by steel mills.

“SA Recycling is proud to be part of John Sacco’s mission to educate the world on the benefits of recycling,” SA Recycling Director Terry Adams says. “At our Brownsville facility, we tackle one of the most challenging recycling activities; dismantling and cutting up ships in a safe and responsible operation.”
