Republic Services, Phoenix, recently announced the closing of its acquisition of JRM Hauling and Recycling Services, Peabody, Massachusetts. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
JRM was founded in 1995 by the Motzkin family in Gloucester, Massachusetts, and is overseen by James R. Motzkin and James S. Motzkin. The company serves residential, commercial and industrial customers throughout Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Rhode Island and has more than 350 employees and 300-plus trucks in operation.
JRM has been renamed Republic Services Inc, according to a joint letter from Republic and JRM.
