
Republic Services Inc., Phoenix, unveiled its latest Customer Resource Center, the third of three centers designed to enhance the overall service experience for more than 14 million customers nationwide. The new 72,000-square-foot facility in Chandler, Arizona, is home to modern communications capabilities to cater to evolving customer preferences and needs, the company says.
“These facilities are about providing a great experience for our customers,” says Joe Burkel, senior vice president for customer experience at Republic Services. “This facility will allow our customers to communicate with us how and when they prefer, creating a truly differentiated customer experience. We are excited about the communication options it offers our customers, as well as enabling better experience across the board. We are very pleased to join the community by bringing this facility to Chandler.”

Republic’s Customer Resource Center in Chandler represents the company’s latest investment in the Arizona economy. In a recent study conducted by Arizona State University's W.P. Carey School of Business, through the L. William Seidman Research Institute, an independent research team found that Republic has a $497 million impact annually on the state’s economy. This includes employing more than 1,500 people at 22 locations statewide, creating 2.9 jobs for every Republic employee in Arizona and generating $53 million in tax revenues each year.
