ReMA opens nominations for 2026 Young Executive of the Year Award

The award recognizes young professionals in the recycled materials industry.

The Recycled Materials Association (ReMA), Washington, is accepting nominations for its 2026 Young Executive of the Year Award.  

The award recognizes young professionals in the recycled materials industry who have demonstrated leadership. 

“The Young Executive of the Year Award annually celebrates the achievements of a deserving young professional who has demonstrated leadership and commitment to the recycled materials industry,” says ReMA President Robin Wiener. “Young executives within the industry are our future and it is important to both celebrate and encourage them. ReMA is excited to open the nomination period, and we look forward to recognizing the 2026 Award recipient.” 

To be eligible for the award, the nominee must adhere to the following criteria: 

  • be employed by a ReMA member company in good standing with both ReMA national and the chapter;  

  • born on or after Jan. 1, 1986; and 

  • have a minimum of 1 full year in the industry. 

Nominations will close on Dec. 5. The winner will be acknowledged at ReMA2026–The Show, receive a physical award, complimentary registrations to ReMA’s 2026 national events and full registration to the ReMA 2027 Convention.
