The Washington-based Recycled Materials Association (ReMA) has announced that Harris American will be the inaugural “Presented By” sponsor for the 2025 Safety & Operations Forum. Harris American, a Georgia-based producer of size reduction and compaction equipment for the recycled materials industry, is supporting ReMA with the first-of-its-kind sponsorship at this event.
“Harris American’s support for the 2025 Safety & Operations Forum is an incredible resource for ReMA and the recycled materials industry,” says ReMA President Robin Wiener. “It’s support from organizations, like Harris American, that are truly invested in the success of our industry that help drive all of us forward.”
As the presenting sponsor of the Safety and Operations forum, the event's official title becomes the 2025 ReMA Safety and Operations Forum, presented by Harris American. This title will be used throughout all official forum materials and represents ReMA and Harris American’s joint commitment to the industry’s processing equipment safety and operations progress.
The formation of Harris American was announced earlier this year bringing together American Baler, Harris Equipment and International Baler as one company with four manufacturing locations in the U.S. and nearly 300 years of collective business operations.
"We’re thrilled to strengthen our partnership with ReMA and the recycled materials industry as a whole,” says D.J. VanDeusen, president of Harris American. “Harris American has proudly supported recyclers throughout our history with best-in-class design, operations and ongoing support of our renowned equipment product lines. Partnering with ReMA allows us to double down on our shared commitment to recyclers’ safety and operational knowledge.”
