Recycling Equipment Inc. (REI), Newton, North Carolina, has acquired Advanced Equipment Sales (AES).
Souderton, Pennsylvania-based AES is a full-service provider of integrated conveyance systems specializing in scrap, trim and dust handling systems.
Post-acquisition, REI now is operates out of three locations: Newton, North Carolina; Fort Worth, Texas; and Souderton, Pennsylvania, the former headquarters city of AES.
“We believe this acquisition propels REI to a new level in our goal to deliver turnkey solutions, empowering us to enhance both design and execution as we tackle the complex material conveyance challenges our customers face,” REI CEO Dean Burrow says.
“We are pleased that both founders, Jeff & Jill Dietterich, will continue in their leadership roles, guiding the AES team and business in day-to-day operations.”
REI focuses on equipping commercial generators of recyclable materials with products it says “are manufactured with continuous awareness of economic, social and environmental impact.”
The company, which has engaged in installations in the United States, Canada, South America, Europe and Africa, lists shredders, grinders, balers, sorting systems and paper roll shears on its website as equipment it offers.
On its website, AES describes completed projects and installations designed to handle recovered paper grades including old corrugated containers (OCC) and dust particles at box making plants and other facilities.
