Redishred Capital Corp., which is headquartered in Mississauga, Ontario, has completed the acquisition of the Proshred Richmond business from its franchisee located in Richmond, Virginia, effective May 1.
According to a news release from Redishred, the Richmond location earned about $870,000 in revenue during the 2020 fiscal year and just over $1 million in the 2019 fiscal year. Proshred Richmond currently operates four trucks in the Richmond market.
Redishred reports that the acquisition includes on-site paper shredding trucks, containers, client relationships and other assets used in the shredding business.
Redishred is the owner of Proshred, which shreds and recycles confidential documents and proprietary materials for customers across the United States in all industry sectors.
