Redemtech announced plans to open a West Coast processing facility early next year. The facility, to be located in Reno, Nevada, will be 65,000 square feet, and will be about to process more than 250,000 technology assets per year.
According to Bob Houghton, Redemtech’s president, "The Reno facility represents another critical step in our continued development of a true enterprise solution for managing technology assets and their associated liabilities. This facility increases our capacity above one million units per year, and positively impacts our clients by lowering their costs, providing greater flexibility for enterprise disposition and ultimately optimizing the value of their IT assets."
All Redemtech facilities use RedemTRAC(TM), an internet-based asset optimization solution, to process unsorted streams of technology. The system uses an automated decision-making process to appropriate the necessary services and facilitate the most opportunistic disposition path, which helps companies maximize asset values, reduce costs, and minimize regulatory liability.Latest from Recycling Today
