Recycling Technologies appoints Paul Hodges new non-executive director

Recycling Technologies has named Paul Hodges, a long-time adviser to global chemical companies and the investment community, a non-executive director.

Hodges has worked in the chemical industry for 30 years, including 17 years as a senior executive with ICI, both in England and the United States.

Recycling Technologies Ltd, founded in 2011, has produced a chemical process that can accept and recycle various types of plastic into a clean monomer feedstock called Plaxx.

Hodges is the chairman of IeC and is currently working as the global expert with the World Economic Forum. He is also a member of the Energy Institute and a freeman of the City of London. He also writes the ICIS Chemicals & the Economy blog and is the co-author of the study Demand – the New Direction for Profit.

In naming him to the position, Recycling Technologies notes that Hodges’ experience in the petrochemical market, along with his knowledge of global markets, will prove extremely beneficial to Recycling Technologies as it develops the business and the RT7000, a machine incorporating a recycling chemical process which will be assembled on production lines then installed at Material Recovery Facilities around the world.
