Recycling Associates LLC (RA), a Lenoir, North Carolina-based plastic and metal recycler, has added a 50,000-square-foot toll grinding facility in Edison, New Jersey, in conjunction with Edison-based JDM Recycling.
RA, which operates a 200,000-square-foot facility in Lenoir, says it plans to use the new space to grind and process all types of bulk plastic materials. The new line will consist of a single-shaft shredder and metal processing equipment to handle materials with light ferrous contamination.
RA is a full-service plastic and metal recycler with grinding, shredding and metal separation capabilities. The company says it specializes in the recycling of postindustrial polypropylene (PP), high-density polyethylene (HDPE) and high-impact polystyrene (HIPS).
