RecycleBank announced that Borders, Inc. has signed on as a national partner. RecycleBankers will be able to redeem their dollars for a Borders coupon.
Households earn "RecycleBank Dollars" for the weight of the materials they recycle. The RecycleBank dollars are redeemed at businesses in the form of gift cards and coupons. "We are delighted to have Borders as a rewards partner; their commitment to community is an example of a successful socially responsible approach to business," said Ron Gonen, RecycleBank's CEO. "We are also thrilled to be able to offer our customers an opportunity for the rich shopping experience that Borders provides as a result of their recycling efforts."
