Recyclebank, headquartered in New York City, has named Anurag Jain its chief technology officer, effective immediately. In the role, Jain will be responsible for leading and mentoring all technology operations, including software development and quality assurance, for the company. Jain will be based in New York City and report directly to Recyclebank’s Chief Operating Officer David Eisendrath.

Currently, Recyclebank has more than four million members across 300 communities in all 50 states. Jain will work with Recyclebank’s development team on all aspectsof technology, including enhancing its existing systems and architecture, as well as integrating third party tools to further expand Recyclebank’s reach and drive impact though its online platform.
Jain joins Recyclebank from WebMD, where he most recently served as vice president of engineering, over analytics and data services products.
