Recycle Logic Inc., based in Red Deer, Alberta, Canada, has reported that it has received and recycled 200 metric tons of electronics in the last month. The electronics were collected by municipalities and businesses throughout Alberta.
"July was a record month for us," Todd Burton, president of Recycle Logic, says. "We are very impressed how individuals and businesses from High Level to Medicine Hat have embraced this new electronic recycling program."
Recycle Logic is a qualified processor under the Provincial Electronic Recycling Program, which Alberta implemented in Oct. 1, 2004.
Electronics are being collected throughout the province at no charge to residents. A list of drop-off locations is available at http://www.albertarecycling.ca.
