Recoup announces 2017 awards finalists

Peterborough, United Kingdom-based recycling organization Recoup says it is again showcasing the benefits of recycled plastics through its support of the U.K. Best Recycled Plastics Product Award for 2017. 

Displays providing details on the five finalists will be unveiled at the Recoup Conference, taking place Sept. 28, 2017, at the KingsGate Conference Centre in Peterborough. Attendees at the conference also will have the ability to decide the winner during an onsite vote.

The five 2017 finalists are:

Fishy Filaments, a manufacturer of 3D printing filament made from plastic fishing nets;

Marmax, producer of the Recycled Plastic Buddy Bench;

Axion Polymers and 1ENV Solutions, for the Rotec Bullet bait box;

Recycling Technologies Inc., for the Plaxx plastic scrap-to-chemicals and fuels process; and

Hahn Plastics, maker of “hanit” Ultra Ecocrib Wall Plastic.

The winner will be announced at the Plastics Industry Awards dinner at the London Hilton Oct. 27, 2017.
