Reclamere, Tyrone, Pa., is conducting an executive luncheon that will also offer advice on protecting against data breaches, employee misconduct with technology and complying with industry regulations.
The event is being held in Harrisburg, Pa., on Oct. 22 in cooperation with regional business development agency TechQuest.
The free executive luncheon has been designed to “offer solutions and guidance on the challenges—and most importantly in today’s economy, the solutions are affordable,” says TechQuest in an e-mail promoting the event.
Reclamere will draw upon its computer forensics and information security and destruction experience to offer information on topics such as:
· What IT managers should manage internally and what things they should assign to outside experts, and why “being helpful” can actually cause an IT hurt manager to harm an organization.
· Making HR managers aware of how a “normal HR incident” can go wrong, even when they do everything right.
· Whether internal legal counsel personnel are prepared for a litigation hold or e-discovery request. Do they know where data is stored and whether they can find it?
· Whether executives have a good overall picture of what their organization’s risks are.
Reclamere Vice President of Compliance and Security Angie Singer Keating will use real-world examples to help attendees be more aware of common risk factors, says TechQuest.
