Reclamere Inc., based in Tyrone, Pa., has been approved as a pre-qualified information technology (IT) vendor under the commonwealth of Pennsylvania's Invitation to Qualify (ITQ) program. Reclamere is a leader in data security and IT asset management.
The ITQ procurement process gives service providers an opportunity to do business with state agencies and local public procurement entities through a proposal and evaluation, pre-qualification process for specific ITQ statewide contracts.
To qualify for the program, service providers must to meet requirements specific to the ITQ contract in question to become pre-qualified for that contract. Qualifications for approval include a company being registered with the state, being in business for at least two years, and providing references and documentation of the company’s business to the state.
Reclamere’s pre-qualification enables the company to offer IT services to state agencies without going through an RFP process, the company says.
Reclamere previously was approved to provide services in the information technology and telecommunications categories under the overall category of disaster recovery. This category includes provision of disaster recovery services, including off-site hosting, recovery, back-up and replication of data systems and associated data. It also includes consulting, designing and planning of disaster recovery solutions in support of the agencies' business continuity plans, as well hot-site, warm-site, cold-site and mobile recovery facilities complete with redundant computing components that allow for the short notice restoration of data services.
The approval is good until 2014.
