Recellular Inc. Welcomes New CFO

John Dobrowolski brings solid financial, P&L and operations expertise.

ReCellular Inc., a collector, reseller and recycler of used wireless handsets and accessories, has announced that John Dobrowolski has joined the company as its chief financial officer.

In his new position, Dobrowolski, who is a certified public accountant with 23 years of CFO experience, will oversee ReCellular’s worldwide financial and information technology functions from the firm’s headquarters in Dexter, Mich., northeast of Ann Arbor.

Dobrowolski comes to ReCellular from Demmer Corp., a privately owned supplier of machined and stamped metal parts for the automotive, defense, aerospace and commercial industries based in Lansing, Mich. At Demmer, Dobrowolski significantly improved the firm’s financial footing and implemented a company-wide IT expansion program. He also launched, financed and operated the firm’s real estate development company Demmer Properties, which had roughly 1 million square feet of multi-tenant manufacturing space under management at the time of his departure.

Prior to his time with Demmer, Dobrowolski also served CFO and vice president of finance at Kalamazoo-based Fabri-Kal Corp., one of America’s largest manufacturers of disposable plastic food packaging. In his role as CFO he was responsible for finance, accounting, treasury, IT human resources, credit management, risk management and corporate planning.

“John Dobrowolski is a true professional,” Charles Newman, president and CEO of ReCellular Inc., says. “His experience in strategic planning, organizational development and process improvement, as well as his strong financial background, will be of immense help to ReCellular as we improve our technological, operational and financial systems.”

Dobrowolski says, “I’m excited to join this dynamic company as it continues to build upon its leadership position in this growing industry. “By leading the effort to expand the firm’s resources and management support systems, I’m confident ReCellular we be able to execute on their significant growth plans.”
