RAYCO RH1754-240 |
RAYCO Manufacturing, Inc., Wooster, Ohio, has introduced the RH1754-240. The company says the horizontal grinder was developed to meet its customers’ needs for processing materials such as wood chips, lumber scraps, pallets, logging slash and green waste more quickly, easily and affordably. According to RAYCO, it is priced thousands of dollars less than most other grinders. Features include a 240-horsepower Cummins 6.7 L diesel engine, a longer discharge conveyor, and other enhancements that the company says maximizes throughput while keeping operating costs at a minimum. The discharge conveyor reaches more than 12 feet high for piling chips or filling open-top trailers. Screens can be changed in minutes, allowing the operator to size the product to exact specifications. It has variable speed control on both infeed and discharge conveyors that can be tailored to virtually any grinding application. Radio remote controls and a magnetic head pulley to separate nails and light metals are also included. A swing-away fuel tank allows for screen changes in less than 10 minutes. There is also a large radiator with removable debris screen and reversing fan. It is available on tracks. Visit www.raycomfg.com for more information.
