Houston-based RAKI Computers says it is “readying itself for growth” by preparing to implement ISO9001 quality management system standards in its operations.
The information technology asset disposition (ITAD) firm also states its “ability to engineer solutions based on customers’ specific needs for recycling their IT equipment” has helped it celebrate 27 years in business in 2018.
“Knowing that we are recycling today to save tomorrow drives our willingness to get in the community and do our part,” says RAKI. vice president of operations Amit Behor. “We have made many strides since the business was started in 1991, and are very excited about our future as the company continues to thrive in these changing economic times.”
Behor adds that a combination of RAKI’s business development department and online offerings help it keep service costs reasonable for clients throughout the United States, in part by maximizing the value of any scrap the company recycles. The company also strives to add value by handling the logistics of packing and shipping used electronics, saving fuel, time and manpower for customers.
