R3eWaste introduces R3eDashboard

Dashboard is designed to help customers monitor their end-of-life electronics and other recyclables.

Phoenix-based electronics recycler R3eWaste has launch the R3eDashboard, a system that allows consumers and companies to monitor their recycled electronics in real time and also track metrics on traditional recycling, according to the company.

Businesses partnering with R3eWaste get access to the dashboard. They can use it to track both e-scrap as well as traditional recyclables, such as plastic and paper.

According to R3eWaste, the dashboard provides quantity distribution charts that detail resale and downstream processing. It provides item-specific data to any website or mobile device. Customers of R3eWaste can share the dashboard link on their websites, providing their customers will transparency into their recycling initiatives.

Phoenix-based Sonora Quest Laboratories, an R3eWaste customer and dashboard user, has processed more than 800,000 pounds of material through R33Waste’s Phoenix facility during the past year.

"The dashboard gives us real peace of mind to know that 100 percent of what we send to R3eWaste is being recycled in the most environmentally friendly manner possible,” says Jean Hammelev, vice president of operational excellence for Sonora Quest Laboratories. “The dashboard also gives us detailed insight on our electronics recycling and allows us to track how much waste we have prevented from going to a landfill.”

The dashboard allows clients to track resale items and to see what they will be reimbursed for each item. The accuracy of the system allows R3eWaste to provide its services at no out-of-pocket cost to companies, even for items that have historically had fees associated with them, the company says.

R3eWaste is an R2/RIOS (Responsible Recycling Practices/Recycling Industry Operating System) certified company.
