The environmental and engineering consulting firm R.W. Beck has opened a new office in the Washington, D.C., area. The company has named two consultants to staff the new office.
Steven Stein has worked in the public and private sectors of recycling for more than 20 years. Prior to joining R. W. Beck, Stein worked at Gershman, Brickner & Bratton, Inc. as a senior project manager for litter surveys in New Jersey and California. He also developed and implemented a sampling and analysis protocol for a curbside recycling quantification and characterization study.
Kristian Ferguson joins R. W. Beck with more than five years of experience. He also previously worked at GBB. His experience includes work in recycling, solid waste reduction, waste-to-energy, solid waste management and litter surveys for the states of Mississippi, North Carolina, New Jersey and California.
