New York City-based QP Unlimited LLC, a company that sources, sells and trades recycled fiber, plastic and tin, has announced its expansion to the Midwest region.
Judy Goodstein, owner of QP Unlimited, says, “Our expansion to the Midwest is in recognition of the magnitude and opportunity of the market.”
Goodstein founded QP Unlimited in 2006. The company features a team of recycling professionals who have more than 50 years of combined industry experience.
In addition to its New York headquarters, QP Unlimited says the company has sales personnel in California who will serve the Midwest region and will complement the Southeast team operating out of North Carolina.
QP Unlimited works directly with county and private material recovery facilities (MRFs) supplying domestic manufacturers.
Additionally, the company will attend the Paper & Plastics Recycling Conference, hosted by the Recycling Today Media Group, in Chicago Oct. 8-10.
QP Unlimited previously announced its receipt of Women Business Enterprise (WBE) certification from the New York State Department of Economic Development, Division of Minority and Women’s Business Development.

The WBE certification requires a business enterprise to be at least 51 percent owned, operated and controlled by women, to be in operation for at least one year and to show a significant tie to the New York City business community. The WBE certification program connects WBE businesses with expanded opportunities as well as increases their capacity to effectively contribute to the city’s economy, according to QP Unlimited.
