Mentor, Ohio-based Quality Components Co. (QCC) says its 3000 Series metal cutting torches can deliver “everything professionals expect” from a handheld cutting torch while also offering customer-first customization options.
“The 3000 Series is designed to adapt to your application, with customizable options that let you configure the torch for optimal reach, control and performance on the job,” states QCC.
The torches can be ordered at lengths ranging from two feet to 18 feet. QCC says operators of 3000 Series torches can then select head angles of 75, 90 or 180 degrees to match a desired cutting position and improve the operator’s control.
Additionally, says QCC, an optional skid can be ordered that has been designed to help improve stability and cut quality on long-reach cuts.
The combination of standard and optional features means 3000 Series torches offer “reliable, precision cutting that stands up to everyday shop and field work,” says QCC.
The 3000 Series “is built to handle the most common cutting tasks with confidence, offering 3,000 cubic feet per hour (CFH) oxygen flow capacity that can produce a cutting depth of up to 16 inches, according to QCC.
To handle tough environments, QCC says the torches have been specified to be corrosion resistant, featuring a stainless steel head, tubes and lever.
