Pure Loop, the Austria-based sister company of Erema, says the new ISEC evo 702 shredder-extruder combination opens up a new dimension in the efficient processing of production waste. Unlike comparable shredder-extruder recycling machines on the market, the Pure Loop solution requires only two drives, which significantly reduces energy consumption, according to a news release.
Heavy, lightweight, high volume and also highly tear-resistant materials can be processed. The conical design of the conveyor screw results in high compaction, which in turn causes ideal preheating of the material while at the same time forcing back oxygen.
"The oxidative effect on the material is now low, which is a clear advantage for the quality of the melt and subsequently also for the quality of the recycled pellets,” says Manfred Dobersberger, Pure Loop managing director. “This makes particularly high recycling rates possible.”
The ISEC evo series is characterized by straightforward operation and a high degree of automation, and the machines are quickly ready to start processing.
"This recycling machine has met with a high level of acceptance among our employees right from the start,” says Christian Nimmrichter, who introduced the machine at Stabilo’s site in Germany. “We were impressed by Pure Loop’s flexibility, design, sound workmanship and excellent project management.”
The black caps for Sabilo’s highlighters are produced using the recycled pellets, the company says.
