PSC Metals has announced that it has brought back David Spector, former WIMCO president, as president of its PSC’s Northern Region. Spector was president of WIMCO, based in Wooster, Ohio, before it was acquired by PSC in 2007.
After the acquisition he became PSC’s VP of buying for PSC’s Northern Region. He resigned from the company early last year.
In announcing Spector’s return, Ronald Nock, PSC Metals’ president and CEO, recognized noted his “unique background in the scrap metals industry. He will further strengthen our company,” Nock said.
The second addition brings Brian Carlone to the company as manager of nonferrous trading at the company’s Barberton, Ohio location. He had worked for Metalico Annaco for 21 years, and is incoming VP of the Northern Ohio Chapter of the Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries.
As manager, Non-Ferrous Trading, he reports to Mark Shapiro, VP of PSC Metals’ Non-Ferrous Trading.
PSC Metals, with 30 locations, is engaged in buying, selling and processing of ferrous and non-ferrous scrap.
