Randolph Ehret, an executive with The Timken Co., has been named president – Northern Region of PSC Metals, Inc., Cleveland. He will assume his new position on November 15, 2011.
Ehret joins PSC Metals from The Timken Co., Canton, Ohio, where during his 31-year career, he attained the position of general manager, Strategic Sourcing, Steel. Ehret also serves as a national director of the Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries Inc. (ISRI).
In making the announcement, Dave Spector, PSC’s president and COO, says, “Randy served The Timken Co. with integrity, intelligence and loyalty. We look forward to Randy bringing to PSC these same qualities, along with his extensive industry experience.”
PSC Metals’ operations are classified into four main business segments: ferrous and nonferrous recycling operations, brokerage, secondary plate and secondary pipe. It has a logistics and transportation department with the expertise to execute supply chain management via rail, highway, barge and other vessels.
