PSC Metals, a Cleveland-based scrap metal firm with locations throughout the eastern half of the United States, reportedly has acquired a number of independent scrap metal recycling operations in the Midwest.
In the first article, PSC reportedly acquired Cash’s Scrap Metal & Iron Co., based in St. Louis.
According to a report in the St. Louis Business Journal, the deal closed Jan. 5 and makes Cash’s part of M.W. Recycling LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of PSC.
Cash’s operates three scrap metal facilities in Missouri, and is one of the largest independent scrap metal recycling firms in the Midwest.
PSC also recently acquired a scrap metal recycling facility in Ohio. In a deal reported by the Canton (Ohio) Repository, PSC acquired Warmington Road Recycling Co., based in Mansfield, Ohio. The company will use the Ohio scrap metal operation as a feeder yard for PSC’s auto shredder facilities.
