Proposed C&D Facility Nixed in Canada

Ontario Municipal Board rejects Aarts-Can Holding’s plan.

A recycling company in London, Ontario, Canada, has lost its bid to build a construction and demolition recycling facility in the city, according to a report in the London Free Press (London, Ontario, Canada).

The Ontario Municipal Board has rejected the appeal made by Aarts-Can Holding to build the C&D recycling facility, arguing that the facility would produce too much noise, dust and truck traffic, according to the report.

The city council of London, Ontario, rejected the original zoning application in late June.
