An Ohio citizens’ group has proposed an amendment to the state constitution that would apply the same regulations that govern Ohio’s solid waste landfills to those that store construction and demolition debris, according to a report in the Youngstown Vindicator (Youngstown, Ohio).
The citizens’ group R Lives Count Too aims to get the proposal on the November 2006 ballot, according to the report.
