The Professional Recyclers of Pennsylvania (PROP) group says “there are a few exhibit booths remaining, several sponsorships available and we always welcome new and returning attendees” to its annual recycling and organics conference, which takes place in 2014 in Washington, Pennsylvania, July 22-24.
The July PROP event includes certification classes in four categories:
- recycling economics;
- organics collection;
- managing organics in your community; and
- innovative and successful programs.
Sessions during the PROP conference include presentations or panelists appearances by Billy Johnson of the Instuite of Scrap Recycling Industries; Chaz Miller of the National Waste & Recycling Association; Brenda Pulley of Keep America Beautiful; Greg Crawford of the Steel Recycling Institute; Meg Morris of Covanta Energy; and Stephen London of ReCommunity.
PROP’s annual golf outing is tied to the event and has been scheduled for July 22 at the Lindenwood Golf Club in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania.
