Progress Rail Services Corp. signed a multi-year agreement with Lonesource. Under the agreement, Lonesource will provide a platform to allow Progress Rail Services to implement the Lonesource Enterprise Transaction Management platform across all of its divisions, spanning more than 80 locations in North America, to automate the procure-to-pay process.
"Our focus is on being the leading one-stop supplier for railcar, locomotive, transit, track and recycling products and services," said David Klementz, Progress Rail's CFO. "We want to help our customers increase their value and efficiency, and we want to work with vendors who help us increase our own efficiency. Lonesource does that by helping us reduce invoice processing requirements, which saves us time, helps us work more efficiently and gives us an improved return on our investment."
