The list of moderators for the 2003 Paper Recycling Conference & Trade Show, scheduled to be held in Chicago June 22-24, has begun. This year will be the fourth for the conference. The conference is presented by The Recycling Today Media Group.
This year’s program will include six sessions on a wide range of topics. This year’s program includes the following topics: The Changing Dynamics of Paper Recycling, Thinking Outside the Wax Box; Curbside Collection Reconsidered; Exporting with Success; Capturing the Commercial Stream; and Secrets of Successful Mill Buying.
While panels and moderators are presently being assembled, the list of moderators and speakers for this year’s show include the following: Bill Moore, Moore & Associates; Fred von Zuben, The Newark Group; Pete Grogan, Weyerhaeuser Recycling; Jimmy Yang, Bayside International; Brian Fielkow, The Peltz Group; Jonathan Sloan, Canusa Hershman Recycling; and Ed Tucciarone, Smurfit Stone Recycling.
A program new to this year's conference will be "The Buyer of the Year" award. This award will recognize one mill buyer for exemplary work in developing an effective strategy. Nominations will be accepted from the public. More details about this program are forthcoming.
